excellent book 9 Aug 2010
By Christian Dagg - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
This book is a true compilation of Lewerentz's work. All the projcts, images and drawings together in one source. I have spent time researching the work of this architect and when I found this book realized the search was over. I would recommend this book for anyone getting ready to travel to Sweden, you will discover some wonderful projects that are not on the standard visit but worth your attention.

Janne Ahlin's book on Lewerentz was better 3 July 2013

A good companion to Janne Ahlin's book on Lewerentz. Recommended as an architect who was once Asplund's partner and unheralded equal. His ideas about material use and context are as fresh and useful as ever. Good value. Good Quality.

There are not enough books on Lewerentz, and this publication does a great job of digging into the architect's small but amazing body of work. I could have used more and better photos, but the inclusion of drawings is always appreciated.
