I'd seen this on BBC before purchase so knew what I was getting. This is a brilliant behind-the-scenes series about Chanel couture and the people working to create the most beautiful clothes. It's really fascinating, funny and warm and also a really good way for me to practice my French listening skills!!

I was lucky enough to catch some of this great series on TV a couple of years ago and loved it! It's great the second time around too! The fly on the wall documentary is in French with subtitles and captures the dizzying process of creating a couture collection from start to finish! The breathtaking amount of work which goes into the intricate peices and the glamour surrounding the Chanel name is immense. It is truly wonderful to see the many different characters who contribute to the collection in many varied ways, not to mention the great monochrome Karl himself! As well as being interesting it has some funny moments too. Reccomended!

If you love high fashion, there is no reason to not absolutely love this DVD. My only issue (and I'm sure I could have found this out before purchasing it) is that I'm in the U.S. and it won't play on my DVD/Blu-Ray player, it only works on my laptop, but honestly as long as I can watch this I'm happy. It absolutely fascinating to me to see the true genius behind creating a single collection, it's mind-blowing, and being that Chanel is my absolute favorite label of all time may have something to do with how awesome I think this DVD is.

Taking a peek inside
