5.0 out of 5 stars Classic 80's AOR! 14 April 2003
Format:Audio CD
This was Autographs debut and alongside the 1987 release "Sign In Please" is considered a bit of an 80's AOR classic.
Bursting full of catchy 4 minute tracks this really is a gem, highlights would have to be "Friday" the humouously titled "My Girlfriends Boyfriend Isn't Me" and "Turn Up The Radio" which I seem to recall was a hit single in the USA!
Almost 20 years old but still spounds fresh....well to an ageing rocker like me!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Melodic Metal at its best !! 29 Jan 2006
By JT
Format:Audio CD
This is simply one of the finest examples of commercial Heavy Metal money can buy. This album is packed full of great songs. In Steve Lynch they had a fine guitarist who had a wonderfull set of tricks.[ He was teaching at GIT in L.A at the time ] This is a fun album, put this on & sing along whilst playing your air guitar !!! I first heard "Turn Up The Radio" on an episode of Miami Vice !! a classic track. "My Girlfriends Boyfriend `isn`t Me" has a killer riff & catchy chorus you`ll be singing for weeks after. "Friday" has one of the best guitar solo`s in a H/M song ever. "Deep End" has one of those over the top insane vocal deliverys that only Americans can do. "Cloud Ten" is simply a pop/metal tune with a big hook filled chorus. This is a must by for anyone who likes there metal singable.

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm impressed! 12 Sep 2010
Format:Audio CD|Amazon Verified Purchase
Autograph-a band from the '80's that has been refreshed by the appearance of a track in a popular game.
Turn up the Radio is definitely my fave track on the album, but I was massively surprised at the other tracks on the CD. Even my wife likes them all!
For anybody that enjoys rock music from the 80's, this album is not heavy rock, but is very listenable and I would definitely recommend a listen to it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Belter! 4 April 2012
Format:Audio CD|Amazon Verified Purchase
Can't beleive I got hold of this hair metal classic at last. As god as I expected with excellent hooks and typically raw early 80's sound.

3.0 out of 5 stars Autograph - american rock album 3 Oct 2011
Format:Audio CD|Amazon Verified Purchase
Decided to buy after gettin the mps of Turn Up The Radio. Heard the track on Planet rock but wanted a fuller rendition to sample. Basically a good album. TUTR is a Deff Leppard clone or is it the other way round?
Super track. The rest of the album is ok but to my ears, not quite as rich as Leppard. Mind you, Hysteria benefitted from one of the best productions of all time. Worth a punt if you like rock but it is very american.

5.0 out of 5 stars 80's rock great 24 Jun 2011
Format:Audio CD
After hearing Turn up the Radio on an internet radio station 80's hairband, I decided to investigate further about this band. After reading great reviews on Amazon, I decided to purchase this CD. A worthy buy. This is great 80's rock CD of tracks which epitomizes this era. There is a feature in the CD cover from band member Paul Suter, describing the band's journey, which is a great read. The only shame about Autograph, is that the band did not go further and follow in the likes of Bon Jovi and Van Halen etc. Perhaps that was down to the marketing side of things. Great Stuff!
