Sigg bottles quite often get a bad press for things like easy denting and leaving a soured taste after having anything other than water in them. However, they are the best aluminium bottles you can buy.
Firstly don't worry about dents. They're a bit like Land Rover Defenders. They need to be a bit chipped and dented to make them look like they're used for something other than display.
Secondly, the bad soured taste only comes from putting things like milk into them. Milk doesn't usually go well with aluminium and is best put in plastic. Use them for water and they're so good at keeping it cool. Never had any problems with the metal tainting the water.
All in all, a top quality water bottle.

I've got 4 of these bottles now for when we are camping and hiking, they are just great, no downsides to them at all really and they hardly weigh a thing!
Essentially a nice piece of design well executed - and the bit about them not leaking is 100% true!
It's worthwhile checking out the protective nylon carry cover / pouches as well just to stop any dinks and dents if the bottle does get dropped, plus they insulate and keep cool drinks cooler for longer - nice on a hot day out!

These bottles seem to be as much about a fashion statement as they do carrying liquid! That said, if you are going to carry a drink, and don't want or need a vacuum flask they do look nice and give you a wide range of styles to choose from.
I have the plain white design and think it looks great. Aluminium bottle, screw in cap. Does the job, you can put it in the fridge of course and chill the bottle itself so it does keep your drink cool a while longer.
Bit expensive for an aluminium bottle, you do pay for the style and name.
Only advice I would give is that if you ever intend to put ice in this with your drink, get the wide neck version. This one is narrow, which is pretty decent to drink out of, but too narrow for ice cubes.

If your like me and treat your travel stuff terribly then this is the bottle for you! Its very ressitant to being kicked about and doesn't get that funny taste that the plastic ones can develop (especially, after a squash drink-Yuk!) handy to hook on with a little carabina and is just as light as any plastic.

Usual Sigg quality. the seals on them are great. This wide neck version is great for two reasons:
1. easier to clean
2. you will take on more fluid from a wide opening - the flow is smoother. You want this on the trail; it's easy to de-hydrate when walking, especially in heat, so you need to drink more than you would normally do.

I got this to replace my old plastic bottle as it was starting to taste a bit off, the size is perfect for my needs and there has been no weird taste off it yet. Good seals on it, never had any issues with leaks.

Bought one of these Sigg bottles 18 months ago, and have used it about 5 days a week filled with water for training (gym etc), the only "damage" it has are a couple of small dents where the bottle was dropped onto hard flooring, and some of the inner lining recently came away from the thread at the top of the bottle neck, as far as I can tell this has made no difference at all. I have the "Swiss Quality" bottle which has a brushed aluminiun finish, not as sleek looking as the coloured versions but any dents are less visable. I keep mine in the fridge filled overnight, and the aluminium shell seems to help keep the water cold during training, usually 2 hours. Very well made and doesn't leak, what can I say? does exactly what I wanted it to.
