You literally can't fault any song on this album, each track is brilliant - a perfect mix of relaxed and upbeat songs.
Especially fond of 'Sierra planes/what's my name' & 'college kids'.
We will definitley be seeing George's name in bright lights in the future!
I 100% recommend purchasing the album asap!

I'd heard about the amazing drumming of George Barnett, but nothing prepared me for the fantastic creation which is Sierra Planes... I love Silent Sound particularly, and listen to it over and over and over again without tiring of it.
It's amazing that all the instruments and voice were produced by George. There are no superlatives strong enough to express how good I think the album is. Everyone I have passed the link on to has said the same thing... it's brilliant!

I bought the album a week or so ago, already knowing what an original talent George Barnett is and so was expecting a pretty good collection of tracks, however, this EP blew me away. It is a journey of spirituality and revolutionary ideas with an amazing collection of sounds, beats and instruments, all played by George. Vocals smooth and intricate, carefully crafted into this rocktacular, uber cool collection.

George Barnett is a musical genius, and it's good to finally see his talent digitised. This album is a must buy for music fans of almost any genre, the sheer range means that everyone will be happy. From Latin and alternative, to Indie, his skill and imagination are truly astounding, and I certainly will never take the album out of my favourites! From the beautiful L'automne Et Le Bon, to the scarily accurate College kids, and the nostalgic Hesfes Song, there is something for every mood.

An amazing first release for George Barnett. I'm bowled over by the eclectic mix and the variety of talent this promising young musician shows. Its an upbeat, well written and well performed album which I love listening to over and over again. It's really hard for me to choose just one favorite track as they're all so different but haunting Sierra Planes and the addictive Silent Sound probably jump out the most. I would definately recommend this album!

A completely brilliant collection of songs by a truly talented young man. 'Insomnia' is my favourite but I really love them all. 'Silent Sound' and 'Constellations/Beautiful Earth' are little treasures. 'Hesfes Song' is daughters favourite, it has a really fun vibe, definately a feel good song, one to get you out of bed in the morning. If you can get to see this guy live then do so, he's fantastic. Can't wait for the next album. Keep it up, George. ;)

This album is a must have! There is a good mix and most of the songs you will want to play over and over, with Silent Sounds and Constellations my favorites! A well talented artist!!
