Absolutely love this bean to cup machine... Admittedly my first after a run of bad pod machines. Once you get to grips with the options and set up, easy to maintain, clean and makes the perfect cup of coffee. Had mine for few months now, running as good as ever and showing no signs of deterioration. German engineering wins hands down even for coffee machines.

I bought one of these for my wife for her birthday. It was an extravagance but she does love a Cafe Latte.
The First machine to arrive was dead on arrival. The bean grinder just was doing anything at all. I phoned Siemens and they could send an engineer out to me in a couple of weeks. Told them not to bother and the supplier swapped it out for another machine. The new machine arrived and ran well for about 6 days and developed some kind of internal problem. It was blowing steam up into the control panel and out through the milk frother when it was just supposed to be making an Expresso.
I have to say that as previous Gaggia owner, I was very disappointed by the very cheap and plasticky design of the machine. I does look nice, but I wasn't prepared to persist with all the unreliability. I expected more for this money.
Just a word about Grand Gadgets, they were helpful throughout, no argument about the swap-out and eventual return. I would buy from them again. Just save yourself some bother and don't buy one of these from them.
