Having read all the books written by Sidney Sheldon I must say that I had expected a lot more from this book. It totally lacked the thrilling, edgy, unputdownable elements that are the hallmarks of most of Sidney Sheldon's other books. Instead, I found myself with a book that was boring, did not have any interesting characters and had a rubbish plot. I found Lexi to be a hugely disappointing one-dimensional character whose obessession with Krueger Brent annoyed me to the max! This woman did nothing else but eat, sleep, think and whine about Krueger Brent. Krueger Brent this, Krueger Brent that! My god, didn't she have anything else to do in life? Normally, it takes me 2 days maximum to finish a Sheldon book but this one took me one whole week. I have 'After the Darkness' to read but I wont be breaking my neck to do so. I also agree with other reviewers who feel that Sidney Sheldon's name should not be associated with this book.
