I thought this book was too simplistic for something with sidney sheldon's name boldly written at the front. the plot is ridiculously copied from if tomorrow comes which makes it an annoying, predictable read. I don't think I'll be reading another one. All in all, it's not a bad book. Just a bit annoying

This book is far too simple for it to have Sidney Sheldon's name attached to it.Sidney was the master of the unexpected and to give his name to such a dismal attempt at writing a thriller is just plain rude! Tilly Bagshawe should stick to what she knows best (Romance with a bit of fame and history churned in). I do read her books but at least when I pick up a book written by her and for her I know what to expect but when an author with Sidney's calibre is attached to a book, you pick it up expecting to be taken a fantastic journey full of twists and turns. When reading this book you get the same feeling you do when watching a really bad day time soap opera. Please Tilly stop, write what we know and love you for and leave suspense, thriller with a good mix of romance to the masters.

This book is absolutely amazing. I loved Sidney Sheldon's books and Tilly Bagshawe really does follow in his footsteps.

This book is about Grace Brookstein, a wealthy wife of New York's top money man, Lenny Brookstein, whose money (or rather other people's money) has miraculously disappeared. When Lenny dies the blame is put on Grace and she ends up in prison. She knows she has been framed and after mananaging to escape prison she sets out to find who set her up. It could be a number of people, lots of people around Grace and Lenny had motives.

This book reminded me of the film "Double Jeopardy" starring Ashley Judd, also about a woman on the run who has been framed and is trying to outwit her pursuers.

I don't want to reveal too much about the plot, however, it is revealed early on who it could be but the book takes its time to go through the motives of all the others too, so you don't know for sure until the end. The end has a nice twist as well, which I had guessed though.

All in all, it's a really good book, an absolute page turner, it had me up till 3 in the morning.

This book is much better than Tilly Bagshawe's Mistress of the Game, which was her first outing into Sidney Sheldon's books. It is also much different to Tilly Bagshawe's books in her own right.

An absolutety fantastic read!

Another Sheldon classic although I don't understand what part Tilly Bagshawe has played in writing this. Whichever way however, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was impressed by the background about the financial crash and the big giants falling through their greed and over extending credit. The author has taken contemporary facts into consideration. Excellent read.
