Yes I know these are not well knowm films but that is what makes them so good.
Sid James is the star but other well known British commics can be seen in their early years.
The DVD prints are good.
Great value!

HARDLY CLASSICS 15 May 2011
Not a bad collection but certainly not CLASSICS
'Orders Are Orders'is an early outing for Peter Sellers with Sid playing a Yank,
watch out for Tony Hancock being er Tony Hancock, he never got any better in films.
'John & Julie'is a rather gentle film about two children on their way to see the Coronation, Sid, along with Megs Jenkins play the parents and Peter Sellers plays a Policeman.
'Time Gentlem Please'This is the closest to an Ealing comedy which I found the best of the 3 films in the box.

What a bargain! 4 Dec 2011
Bought this box set for my partner who is a big Sid James fan. I was worried he might have seen them already but no he hadn't even heard of them so he was delighted to have 3 'new' films to watch. We both enjoyed them immensly. 3 great films at bargain basement prices. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. Recommend to all Sid James fans and early comedy fans alike.
