I thoroughly enjoyed reading through this guide. It is easy to understand describing each town/region and giving suggestions of what to see. For both sun lover and culture seeker it is an essential piece of "holiday reading", giving detailed information, whilst being small and easy to carry with you. The island comes to life with the descriptions allowing the reader to get a "feel" for the island. I haven't yet been to Sicily but feel I know it well. When I do visit in the summer I know that I shall feel I know the island and the people intimately.

Great book with great pictures! Best Sicily guide yet! I wish the historical stuff had not been shortened, though. And it would be nice if the pictures were a little bit bigger like in the previous books. But all-in-all a nice buy.
