I have some of these same recordings on another CD (meaning the same performance recorded and packaged on another BIS recording), so this review is based on separate downloads and availability on another CD.
I can recommend almost all of this CD based on what I've purchased. The Lahti Symphony is at the top-of-the-heap as far as interpretation of Sibelius is concerned. Strings play with warm conviction and precision, incisive brass cut through everything, woodwinds that are at turns solemn and playful. Contained within this CD are works from all stages of Sibelius's career: the more rhythmically driven early works on into the far more dramatic later works with a grander sweep.
The only drawback is the Lemminkainen Suite, which is wonderfully played, but was poorly recorded (although I don't know why, as it is the same recording crew in the same location). Hopefully Amazon will eventually get around to offering each track separately so that it simply won't matter. In the meantime, I recommend a download of the above suite from Eugene Ormandy's performance with the Philadelphia Orchestra.
