4.0 out of 5 stars Very Creative 3 Jan. 2013
By John A. Prestbo - Published on
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The strong point of this novel is the creativity of the story line and characters, one of whom is God. The typos and misspellings and, occasionally, hilariously wrong word choices are annoying, especially to me, a former editor. But the story trumps these faults.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gripping page-turner 28 Sept. 2012

Format:Kindle Edition
A well-balanced blend of the offbeat storyline punctuated with regular injections of humor keeps the reader's focus as the novel develops characters and plot. Some unexpected twists spice things up. All in all, Ellenbogen has cobbled together a better read than many well-known authors. You'll find yourself wishing there were more pages. (or a sequel?)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Read 10 Sept. 2012

Format:Kindle Edition
Mark Ellenbogen's first novel is a great read. It has very quick paced story line with several subplots working at the same time. There are some very funny lines and many intersecting characters. I look forward to additional books by this author.
3.0 out of 5 stars God shuffled his feet 9 Mar. 2013

This was too far off the beaten path to enjoy. Young people might find it entertaining but definitely not a real plot to carry.
5.0 out of 5 stars ...tap dancing all the while 21 Mar. 2012

Well begorah matey! If it ain't a fine read he'd be presentin' now...
I've read the Foundation Trilogy, V, First on Mars, the Alexandria Quartet, Gravity's Rainbow, Absalom Absalom!, October Country and now, "God Shuffled His Feet". All are extraordinary reads, with V coming closest to God Shuffled His Feet for wacky characters, plot twists and wild turns of fate. Mark E has a wonderful sense of humor and an imagination that runs away with the store. If you enjoyed the books listed above as much as I did, you're sure to find God Shuffled his feet a true delight!
