Having only recently moved to Shropshire we have found this guide a wonderful way of getting to know a new area in safety by following the recommended routes. It is so much better to set off knowing what distance you are taking on and what rest and catering facilities are available. An invaluable pocket type guide and a bargain at the Amazon offer price.

Shropshire walks 29 Oct 2010
By GJB
Format:Paperback
As with the other AA Walk Guides we have bought this book gives clear and concise info. The maps for each walk are a little basic, but when combined with your 'real' os map they work well. Overall, a very good introduction to walks in this area. Worth the money!!

Inspiring walks 9 Feb 2010
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
I bought this book for my partner. We recently moved to Shropshire and although we already had one Shropshire walks book, I thought this one would inspire him. We have not had a chance to do any of the walks as yet, mainly due to the wintery weather but as soon as spring comes, we'll be out there. There is a wide range of walks from a shortish hour stroll to longer day walks, all described in detail and with good maps. We are looking forward to many happy days being introduced to more of the beautiful Shropshire countryside. I recommend the book.
