Book Description

Got Shrinkage?

Here's what readers who've experienced Shrinkage are saying:

"Laugh out loud funny! Nothing heavy or life-altering here just a devilishly fun read that will make you laugh out loud."

"I laughed out loud a lot while reading this... nicely written and good fun."

"Refreshing... Laugh out funny, remarkably clever. Read it."

"No shrinkage of laughs... Twistedly funny and entertaining."

"Laugh Out Loud! I really laughed out loud a lot while reading this book..."

"Hilarious…This book was great, completely hilarious. I was laughing out loud a lot."

Is it in yet? It's the phrase that no man ever wants to hear. Luckily, Tim Garrett has never heard those words. At least he has never heard them out loud despite being on the wrong side of the bell curve in the male endowment department.

It has taken many years, but Tim has finally come to terms with being slightly below average below the belt. His life isn't bad, he doesn't hate his job, his girlfriend Jill is hot and doesn't seem to mind his physical attribute. Things are good. That is, until the day Jill dumps him and his world comes crashing down around him.

That's when Tim decides to make some changes in his life; big changes. When a bizarre mixture of pills combined with a not-as-directed, inventive use of an electronic device prove incredibly successful, Tim's life begins to change for the better both in and out of the bedroom. But when things grow a little too much, everything spins out of control and the words be careful what you wish for begin to take on an entirely new meaning.

SHRINKAGE is a somewhat raunchy and completely funny comedy, which is intended for contemporary mature audiences only. (Whatever the hell that means...)

4.0 out of 5 stars Shrinkage 5 July 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I got stared at hard by my other half whilst reading this because I laughed so much. I'm certain that I tore something inside from the hysterics!

Tim, bless him, is incredibly insecure about his less than average sized love truncheon, no thanks to a freaky girlfriend and his faithful ruler. He has also put on a bit of weight and his hair is thinning....unlucky...or so he thinks. Tim is popping dodgy pills for all of his problems which appear to be working. All i'm saying is; Stay away from those 'enlargement' junk emails.

Not for the prudish but an incredibly funny book. I think it should be made into a short film, just so I can laugh out loud at the cops across the street!

5.0 out of 5 stars Oh my goodness! 2 July 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I will say straight away that this book is not for people of a prudish or prim disposition. If, like me, you are not so proper, then this is a great, light and very funny read.

It centres around poor Tim, who is obsessed by the size of his boy bits and goes to extreme lengths (pun intended) to try and improve things. There are some fairly graphic sex scene and body part descriptions, but they add to the narrative.

I laughed out loud a lot while reading this. It's not a complex story, or particularly deep, but is nicely written and good fun. The moral is, be careful what you wish for, it might not be what you really want!

3.0 out of 5 stars Didn't grow on me. 7 April 2012
By Apollo
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This read is OK if you can accept that the majority of females are only interested in the size of your package (they're not right?) and only the good girls can see beyond "it". The story is predictable but only so much could be whacked out of such a subject I suppose.

There is a talent here and I'll certainly have a look at the authors other work.

I enjoyed my time with it and you should too but it didn't grow on me the way it did others.

Enough double entendres!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very funny throughout 2 Feb. 2012

Got this book as a free download which can be a bit hit and miss quality wise.
I wasn't disappointed. A cracking read, although as someone else has said in their review not for the prudish.
I read this within a few days just because i couldn't put it down.
I just wanted to know how big it got and what happened next. Especially when Tim was tied up face down on the bed with a slightly disturbed woman hovering over him with an enormous........well you will have to read it to find out..

4.0 out of 5 stars A funny look into many a man's insecurity 16 Mar. 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Overall I enjoyed this short, light hearted book. The first impression of the main character, Tim, is natural born loser. However, as this humorous read built, I felt myself rooting for him and hoping for the best. But of course, we must realize that at some point there is too much of a good thing (so to speak). There are a few editing oversights, but they did not dract from the reading experience.

5.0 out of 5 stars Little timmy 20 Mar. 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Tim is a lucky man - or was until his girfriend dumps him quoting the size of his equipment as the cause. The hit to his fragile self esteem sends him into the shady world of male performance enhancers and comedy ensues.

This is a dreadfully , easy to read sex comedy. Not for the prudish but its mainly silly not titillating. Id recommend it as a great airplane read.
