About the Author

I really loved reading this and I love Booster Gold, I think he is a fantastic character but very flawed. This collection is the 1987 run of Booster Gold (#1-#25) and also includes #36 of Secret Origin. This is great value for money however, although I don't particularly mind, it should be noted that it is in black and white and not colour.

Fantastic read, this is a cracking series that really hit the ground running and is surprisingly enjoyable. Really shows what can be done with the character, I'm hoping for a follow up soon!

Set before DC ruined the whole DC Universe by starting all the comics off at number 1 and changing giant aspects of the beloved series I grew up with, These 624 pages tell the story of one of the most absolutely brilliant superheroes ever created... Booster Gold... Its about a screw-up sports star who decides to steal a series of advanced gadgets, and a talking robot sidekick, to travel back in time and become a world famous Superhero...
The story tells how a screw up from the future, travelled back in time, became a self obsessed superhero and how he learned the true value of life and justice, becoming a superhero who will someday alter the DC Universe forever.
The Book as a whole is extremely entertaining, it chronicles Booster Gold's origin story, his run in's with Mister Twister, the 1000 gang, The Legion of Superheroes and many others, all leading to his eventual meeting with the Justice League.
You'd be a fool not to buy this... 5/5
