The band once more joined forces with former lead singer DC COOPER to continue the magic of Royal Hunt and returns to the classic sound which put the band on the map in the first place, all the way back in 1991. Royal Hunt s music is melodic with a progressive and symphonic flair. Founded in Denmark in 1989 by keyboardist Andre Andersen, Royal Hunt has gone through numerous personnel changes since the inception. Though certainly the two albums that they have released with American singer DC Cooper; are the ones that mostly stood the test of time: Moving Target in 1995 and the subsequent concept album Paradox in 1997.In the beginning of 2011, Andre and DC got in touch once more to see if they could cooperate again, which resulted in a small reunion tour. It was a great success and consequently led to the mutual decision of DC rejoining the band. While Andre Andersen - a musical genius who can virtually play any instrument, compose, write lyrics and produce all at the same time is undoubtedly the powerhouse force that drives the entire ensemble forward like a bulldozer, it s also sure that DC is one of the top singers in the entire hard rock world. The extension and warmth of his vocals are the key elements that can bring back Royal Hunt to the throne of nowadays Hard Rock world. Once again recorded and produced at NorthPoint Studios in Denmark, Show Me How To Live brings back Royal Hunt at force 10 with an highly melodic sound and rich, lush arrangements and stellar production. With the amazing new line-up, the fans as well as the critics, are about to get a fresh taste of the powerful and rejuvenated ROYAL HUNT!

I first came across DC Cooper quite a number of years ago when he appeared on the Explorers Club album, and I always found his singing to be very much like a high class David Coverdale....sublime. Indeed, it led me to purchasing DC's solo effort from 2000, even though that particular release (with a couple of exceptional songs) wasn't that much of a showcase for the man and his voice - so when I came across Royal Hunt and discovered the unmistakable vocal chords of DC splattered all across of it, I just had to get me a copy - and even though I am not a great fan of "Euro" rock, with it's dubious lyrics and musical themes - I'll make a big exception in this case simply by virtue of the quality that DC brings to the table.
Certainly, it's a short album by today's standards, at a measly 42+ minutes, but despite it's bombast and classical overtones this album surely rocks - from the opening "fight sequence" and chorale of One More Day through to the crescendo of Angel's Gone, there is so much going on that it actually takes several serious listens to take it all in. Great songwriting, great musicianship and terrific wall of sound production make for a great listening experience so, yep, it's a good 'un and if, like me, you love the voice of DC Cooper and you like your music to hit you like a train, then GET THIS......you'll never regret it!

I bought this album because D C Cooper is on vocals and I'm so glad I did. I'm a big fan of DC's from his days in Silent Force, but this is a much more powerful beast. Full on syphonic prog rock/metal at its best. Now I have to explore their back catalogue.
If you like bands such as Stratovarius, Sonata Artica and ofcourse Silent Force you will love this album.

It's good to see and hear DC Cooper back in the band. This album has the classic Royal Hunt sound, with some new twists. Some nice epic and bombastic songs.
Definitely a great album that should be in any one who likes symphonic hard-rock!
