This award winning series has been specifically designed for babies. A great introduction to books through well-known nursery rhymes and interactive text. Singing songs and rhymes is the perfect way to bond with your baby and share quality time. It also aids language development by introducing them to the natural sounds and patterns of speech. 5.0 out of 5 stars My favourite baby books 1 Dec 2004
Format:Board book
I'd highly recommend anything by Annie Kubler as all her books are extremely well-presented - the illustrations are bright, bold and clear, each page depicting a line from the nursery rhyme acted out by different babies who are evidently having a great time!

Heads, Shoulders.... had both Mummy and Daddy laughing - I think that the key to successful introduction to reading is having a book that YOU want to look at too, and this one certainly does the job!

A simple concept brilliantly executed!

4.0 out of 5 stars Just right for tiny toddlers 15 Jun 2005
By McColey
Format:Board book
This is a big, bright, colourful book with lots of pictures of little children. My daughter loves it. The only complaint is that it is slightly too big for her to handle fully herself as she manages smaller board books much better, but often drops this one as she struggles to hold it and turn the page at the same time. Don't let this put you off though, it is perfect for reading together when I can turn the pages for her!

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally a hard book my babies cant tear 11 Dec 2005
Format:Board book|Amazon Verified Purchase
I love this book and all the other ones in this series because the illustrations are so great, very sweet, but incredibly bright and colourful at the same time, they really catch my babies' attention. They are also hardcover which is great for younger children because they cant tear (or eat) the pages and they can start to try and turn the pages themselves rather than have to sit there and be good in case the book gets all torn!

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice Gift to a Toddler
I bought this recently as a first B'day gift. I liked the illustrations. The song is also included in the last page so that an adult can play/sing together with the child.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not stimulating enough
I found this book big and very basic. It had just one verse of the rhyme through the whole book. I didn't find it exciting or stimulating to read to my daughter.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not much to this book...
I just don't think a whole book dedicated to one nursery rhyme is good. Baby doesn't seem to like it that much either.

An excellent book for my 7 month old grand nephew. He loves the pictures which are big and brightly coloured. Good to have the music too.
