I actually enjoyed the film though I've read some reviews where they have absolutely demonised it. I personally can't see why they found it so offensive, it's just a work of fiction,a typical gangster movie and I've seen films with violence much worse than this, Scarface, American Gangster, Pulp Fiction, Payback to name a few so I'm not sure why they took it as a true representation of Jamaica when it isn't. I'm sure people can work out for themselves that it's not the real Jamaica and this film certainly hasn't put me off going to Jamaica and I go on a regular basis. I've got Shottas in my DVD collection, along with Scarface, American Gangster, Pulp Fiction and Payback......
