Excellent series of walk guides under the 8-mile limit, most walks averaging 4-6 miles. Perfect, lightweight guidebooks (by the publisher of the walker's bible 'Pathfinder' series) aimed at those with less time to walk, or who want a more leisurely walk, or who walk with children, or who just want a nice stroll to walk off a pub lunch! Same excellent description of the locale and OS maps for each walk as the Pathfinder series, with the route clearly marked. This Yorkshire Dales guidebook is as good as the rest of the series.

Have just aquired this small book,have read through it,plenty of walks within it for a fit pair of pensioners.Looking forward to using it during our stay in the dales during May.
