Heinrich August Jäschke, (1817-1883), was a Moravian missionary and linguist, born in Herrnhut, Saxony, Germany. He was educated at, and later taught at, Paedagogium at Niesky. In 1856 he went to Kyelang (Kailing), Lahul province, India, near Tibet, to prepare for work among Chinese Mongols. His other works include a German-Tibetan and English-Tibetan lexicon.

This is about the last book you need to study Tibetan. There should be a health warning on it.
Only recent books are worth buying as regards studying Tibetan.
