Ive had this album for a while and never get bored of it; its a true classic, 101 great punk bands playing 30 second songs compiled by fat mike and released on fat wreck chords, the stand out racks (to me) are "Hand grenades" by the offspring - a fast paced song about how to make a monotov cocktail, "Asian pride" by Hi-standard and even pop-papsters blink 182 make a decent aperence in the highly ofencive and hilarious "family reunion", the only bad point i can find is that geting this album on vinyl could be verry confusing when try to work out what track your on or what band your listening to,

if you are not already a fan of the 30 second punk genre, then is cd is all you need. get to the end, and you'll be convinced that any song over 30 seconds is just wasting your time. from the lunacy of the blink 182 swearfest "family reunion" to the high school philosophy of bad religion's epic "out of hand" this cd leaves you reeling with it's brilliance. just think, in the time it took you to read this review, you could have listened to a whole song. get it.

A cracking punk album that careens through a grand total of exactly 101 30 second songs with some exceptional high points. The ska sound of Dance Hall Crashers for a little bit of a skank, The Vandals provide comic entertainment and Blink 182 are as creative as ever (ahem) with a song made entirely of cuss words. A great album that rocks and works well as a sampler. After heaing this album you'll have christmas list material for at least 2 years.

WOW! After reading the other reviews for this mad Cd I thought that it couldn't possibly live up to them. I was wrong..... I was jumping around the house all night! More an A-Z of Punk than a music Cd. Totally awesome, even though the songs are only 30 seconds long. Everybody should have this Cd. Even if you hate some of the songs, they are over so soon you can get to the next great track! What more do you need? Listen to this Cd without dancing...I dares ya

There are some absolutely great tracks on this CD. Not only does it display some of the better US and English punk groups, but some from Australia, Japan and even one from Israel. Nerf Herder's "Doin Laundry" and my hometown punk stars Frenzal Rhombs "My Pants Keep Falling Down" are the best, with: Offspring, Mr T experience, Blink 182, H20 and Less than Jake in supporting roles. Anyone up for a sequel?

Since buying this CD 4 years ago, rarely has a fortnight gone by that I don't listen to it at least once. A who's who of quality (largely american) punk rock with some stunning stunted performances.

The best thing about this album is that if you don't like one of the songs, just wait a few seconds. Unfortunately, the worst thing about this album is that if you really like one of the songs... BANG! next song, "oh I love this one!" BANG, next song.

It's really odd because I absolutely adore really short songs (most of the stuff on this album is essential listening for me) and I effing love reeeeeeeally long songs too (Boris, SunnO))) and Bunkur especially), it's those middle of the road 3½ minute songs that I have a problem with.

Special mention goes to Blink 182 (sweary and a great message alert on my phone), Mr T Experience (slightly less sweary and brilliant), The Vandals (best thing they've ever written) and Wizo (for the most wonderful album punchline ever).

Buy this CD for someone who loves punk, rock, metal, swearing, dancing, wrecking the joint and put it on your phone to annoy Chav passengers with their sily R & B on your chosen method of public transport.

I was a bit aprehensive about buying this CD as I thought that 30 second songs might be a bit of a rip off. Well, I can safely say that I was wrong and I urge anyone into punk music to buy this CD. If you are into any of the other Fat Wreck Chord CDs you will not be disappointed with this. Think of a self respecting punk band who aren't on this CD, go on, I dare ya!
