This book is boring, out of date, and pointless.
Not a single picture in here, just illustrations.
Hyped by her "insider" friends, this was a waste of money.
In the shops listed for my state, 3 out of 5 were long since CLOSED.
Did no one reasearch this at all???

This book appears, from the preview on Amazon, to be a large reference type book. Not so. It is quite small (about 5" square) and most of the actual content is taken up by a directory of vintage shops around the world. The rest of the book is largely devoted to a selection of examples of vintage fashion from various decades. Only a very small part of the book actually deals with the issue in the title, that being actually buying vintage fashion. I bought this as a gift, and I was quite disappointed with it. If I had bought it for myself, I would have returned it.
