Purchased one of these and didn't use it for a month only to find it did not work and with only 30 days return on it, I guess I was stuck with it. Not being afraid to screw something open and have a look, I decided to see if I could spot the issue, it was then that I realised this was one of the worst designed and manufactured products, I had come across. After re-soldering the poor connections and gluing the connector to stop it going inside every time inserted the cable, it now works sometimes. I expected this to be better than the £4 Hong Kong imports on Ebay, but I think its just one of them resold for a much higher price. Disappointing product stay clear.

I got this as I needed to connect to my Speedlite 420EX with a sync cable. It performs that task quite adequately, construction seems rugged enough, no problems.
