Shock Absorber was launched in 1995 as a result of research by Edinburgh University which showed that wearing a sports bra whilst you exercise reduces breast movement, delaying long term sagging.
Originally designed and developed by the British lingerie brand Berlei, it became a brand in its own right in 2000.
Top athletes including Olympic Gold Medallist, Sally Gunnell, Anna Kournikova and Jade Johnson have helped develop the Shock Absorber product designs.

Shock Absorber Max Support Bra. Focus on RUN When you run, your breasts move in a repetitive figure of 8 pattern. This continuous up and down and side-to-side movement can cause rubbing and chafing. That's why we created a bra specifically for running. Focus on Support The Infinity-8 support system designed for the RUN sports bra offers enhanced support to target excessive breast movement. The seam-free inner and concealed elastic under arms reduces any rubbing or chafing. During testing, we calculated a reduction of up to 78 percent bounce, giving you a more focused running bra for a more focused performance.

Great sports bra, keeps you well in place! I find this style much easier (as at least for the larger cup sizes, FF) it opens fully at the back, and does not have to be pulled over your head (like some other styles, which I hate)

The shock absorber sports bra is great. It gives you full support and no embarrasing bouncing! I run every day and this bra gives you a bit more confidence knowing your well supported. I would recommend it to any runner.

36DD Not the biggest but not the smallest of chests in the world but when at dance class trying to jump around like beyonce (and failing!!!)you know about it! +++ support, +++comfortable to the point i forget i have it on, definately recommended for high impact sports.

Great support bra

Because we're worth it!
Excellent for zumba. Very goood for larger sizes! Also very reasonable in price. I have not been able to find a sports bra like this in Denmark. So thank you Amazon!
