The Shnuggle moses basket mattress by Kidtech has a combustion modified foam interior and a thermally bonded polypropylene cover on all sides which is water resistant but breathable and is removable for washing.
Perfect match for the Shnuggle - Modern Moses Basket, but also compatible with most other brands such as Izzywotnot, Mama's & Papa's, Clair De Lune etc
The Mattres is Hypo-Allergenic and offers protection against dust mites which cause eczema and asthma.
The foam has an open structure which allows good air movement and heat dissipation.
The mattress is manufactured without the use of Antimony, Phosporous or Arsenic based fire retardant treatments.
This mattress conforms to BS1877 part 10(1997) and BS 7177 (2008)

This mattress is nothing fancy. It's fully breathable, fully hypoallergenic and fully water resistant.
The foam is 20mm thick, and is nice and firm as recommended by paediatricians, and the covers are fully removable for washing.
This is a fantastic no-frills mattress which does the job perfectly.
There are more "luxurious" mattresses available, but bear in mind, that babies require firm, flat, breathable mattresses for the best sleep. No excess padding or softness, and certainly no pillows or quilts.

The mattress came in a postal bag folded in half, but it went completely flat again after a day in the Moses basket. It is clearly a good quality mattress from a reputable UK manufacturer. It has all the care labels and fire safety information clearly on the label.
For this low price, you couldn't ask for anything more - oh, and super fast delivery too!
