Shipwrecks of the Irish Coast(ISBN 0 9523027 0 5) covers some 2,000 losses on the coast of Ireland The material has been researched from many sources which are documented . Further investigation is facilitated by providing dates and references. The accounts are easily accessed by location and in the alphabetical index. The material will be of value to scholars and local historians as well as those interested in matitime affairs. Accounts of wreckers smugglers, piracy and salvage will interest the general reader. A second volume has been published ISBN 0 9523027 1 3. This covers a further 3000 wreck entries along with chapters on diving the Lusitania, salvage, East India wrecks on the Irish coast and salvage law. The first volume is reprinted and available again. A third volume is in preparation.
