This is a fantastic true story, which describes the terrible conditions our Naval personnel endured during wartime, and all the risks they took for their country, an excellent read it really brings it home.

My father was the radar officer on HMS Trinidad during during the whole life of the ship, so I had heard the story directly from him before I read the book. He had also read the book and although he had written a few corrections in the margins, he considered it a full and acccurate account of those terrible events.
