Product Description

When the moon falls from the cold, dark night sky, a young boy tries various ways to light up the sky so the moon won't be lonely anymore. Eventually he persuades it back into the sky where, with the help of the new stars, it shines brighter than ever before. A heart-warming story with breath-taking illustrations.

A gorgeous reading experience 14 Oct 2010
By Fitzgerald Fan - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
I found this book for a song at a local store. Typically, I never purchase a story for my kids without reading it first because I know I will be reading it tens of times and, therefore, want to make sure I enjoy it too. I liked the look of the cover and the blurb on the back and took a chance. I lucked out with this book! The story is about what a little boy will do to put the moon back in the sky once it has fallen down. It's something of a creation story about where stars come from (without advertising itself as such). The book has a wonderful message of caring and selflessness and the artwork is absolutely gorgeous. In fact, as far as the art is concerned, it may be my very favorite book. It's very ethereal. This is a story both girls and boys will love equally. I highly recommend it.
