A must read! 28 Sept. 2008
By M.Suit - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
I was given the Rune Warriors book from a friend, who read it himself and proclaimed it was a must read. I am happy to say that I am now passing it along to another one of my friends with the same enthusiastic recommendation. I loved this book. I ended up devoting an entire Saturday, and reading it straight through. Jennewein and Parker have written a compelling book that is full of humor, heart, excitement, and drama. I don't want to give away the plot, because this book will surely keep you guessing until the end, but I will say that I was rooting for the main characters in every adventure they went through in this book. I found myself holding my breath as I turned the pages - and I am now holding my breath until the next book in the Rune Warriors series comes out, because I can't wait to see what will happen next!

A Book You cant put down!!! 9 Oct. 2008
By Cade Hulse - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
Rune Warriors is a great work of art. It had unexpected twists and turns and was altogether a great book. The Characters were amazingly clever both in personality and in name. I liked the setting and the kind of mythology that was used because most people don't know of Norse mythology and it broadens your knowledge. Also very few books are written with Norse mythology as a main theme. It was a great kids book and had two unlikely friends team up together. I give this book a 5 star Review and I think that even adults will love it. Once you start reading this book you'll won't want to put it down until you are finished with it. I was forced to stop reading it at times it was so good. I think everyone should read this book.

RuneWarriors: Shield of Odin 15 Jan. 2010
By R. Winston - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I bought this book for my 11-year-old and we read it together. He is not usually one to become excited about reading a book, but he really liked this story. It's fun, exciting, and just a little exotic, but not difficult - none of the unpronounceable place and character names that scare off many young readers and even drive old ones like me to distraction. I'm looking forward to the next one in the series by these authors ... and hoping for a movie, too.

A Grand Fiction Adventure of Scandinavian Mythology 21 April 2013

The whole viking theme really enhances this fantasy adventure of gods, Valkyries, berserkers, etc... It's a non-stop adventure! It's like the series Percy Jackson and the Olympians, the humor and everything, the only difference is that it's not in the modern day, but instead it's in the middle-ages (medieval), and instead of Greek Mythology, it's Scandinavian Mythology! (it's also got a little bit of romance) All around great series! A must read!

Funny 19 Aug. 2013

...just funny.
It is a silly read at first, but once you get involved with the absurdity of the characters you'll want to finish the book. The 2nd silliest book about vikings I ever read. (Don't ask me for the first)
