I absolutely love this product and have recommended it to all my female friends. I now truly believe there are no more advantages to being a man!
Personally I love the pink SheWee and whilst the extension pipe gives a bit more added confidence that you'll clear a greater distance(!), is probably not essential. However the case is useful and for the slightly added cost I am glad I got the Extreme and not just the funnel.
I keep mine in the car and so its useful to have it packed away in the case hidden from view - when I've pointed it out to male passengers in my car they get a bit freaked out by sitting so close to it! I haven't got or tried out the pouch that you can get with it (the one that you pee into) so can't comment on that. I did once try peeing into a bottle - word of advice here though, make sure its big enough as us girls aren't used to seeing how much pee comes out in one go so you'll be surprised at how much you can generate!
My main tip for using the SheWee is to be confident. I first tried it for real (i.e. not just in the shower) on a camping trip in the hedge in the dark. I had a young baby with me who was asleep in the tent so it would have been an ordeal to get him up and trek to the toilet block. I could feel and hear myself wee-ing but didn't know quite where it was ending up. Thankfully it had done the job it was meant to do and was so easy. No pulling down of trousers or bending down so is very discreet. Make sure you give it time to drip through after you finish and give it a little shake (just like the men do) as you slowly pull it back out. Then just store it all back in the case until you get an opportunity to give it a wash. You could put it in the dishwasher if you wanted to.
I've had mine about a month now and have used it camping and at our allotment. I'm a big big fan and am now happy to use it when out and about with confidence. I highly recommend this product and want to thank whoever dreamt it up!

This is a BRILLIANT product, and is revolutionising my long distance walking habits. No more desperation in the middle of open moorland with no place to hide on a long distance trail in the height of summer - you just KNOW that even though the coast looks clear, and no other hikers are in view, the minute you squat and bare your bum the world and his wife will appear. Actually, the wife worries me less, since she's probably been in the same boat.
No more trying to find a discreet spot behind a bush and end up squatting into a patch of nettles
Now, with the shewee I too can stand, looking as if I'm meditatively watching the horizon, just like a man.
I've noticed several reviewers saying 'you don't need the extension pipe' (as in Shewee extreme) Well, if you are using the shewee not because you want to avoid dirty loo seats etc but because you aim to use it in the big wide open spaces, I would say DO go for the shewee extreme - particularly if you are a winter walker and have various layers of clothing to navigate past.
My only reason for not awarding the final star is - WHY the shocking pink colour. WHY? If the whole rational behind the product is so women can discreetly wee then blinding fluorescent pink will be highly visible across that moorland. Who knows, at a distance, someone might think the vibrant pink object they can see extending from a wee-ers trousers is something else entirely!!!!!!!!!
The 'original' she wee, without extension and case is neutrally coloured and discreet. This one will continue to advertise that the user is going for a wee. Instead of flashing bums, flashing pink she wee!

Shewee - 2 stars (but still practicing!)
Bought as I often go walking and am fed up with trying to find suitable bushes. Have practiced at home using other reviewers tips, but am still having some problems with leakage - I guess I still have the angle wrong. It is better not to hold it tight up against yourself, as it seems to "back-up", so maybe pressing against you at the back and more loosely at the back. Am not brave enough to try it out of the shower yet!
Rigid plastic and the extension tube seems enormous. Would be my second choice after the Whiz, but thats just my opinion.

Just bought Shewee Extreme. Best tip among many was to hold shewee in the shower and pour water into it from a jug. You can regulate the flow from the jug to mimic "weeing". Read more
