Format:Audio CD
This sound track from Edward Burns film 'Shes the One' is very logically assembled and flows well from the begining to the end. Even though the film had its own agenda, this production is more of a classic Tom Petty album than a movie sound track. Expect Tom Petty in his most comfortable niche, providing a great musical score with tracks like Walls, Grew up fast, California and Airport. This is almost as good as, and definitely in the same leauges as his earlier release 'Full Moon Fever'. Expect a Tom Petty album and you wont be dissapointed. Expect a film sound track and you'll get a Tom Petty album for the money aswell - a bargain.

Format:Audio CD
This is Tom Petty's first soundtrack album and it is a gem. It flows like a coherent album and not disjointed like some soundtracks can be. It has some wonderful songs such as 'Angel Dream' 'Walls', where Lindsay Buckingham adds harmony backing vocals, the wonderfully cynical 'Hope You Never' and the super fuelled 'Zero From Outer Space'. This album is often overlooked in Tom Petty's catalogue of music and sits around the time of his album 'Wildflowers' whose influence can clearly be seen. This album has some great tracks on it and although there are other Petty albums to buy before this one, this still has some great music to kick back to and enjoy. Worth a buy.

I've been a TP fan for a number of years in a greatest hits kinda way. It's only been the last couple of years that I've started to buy the albums that put those great tracks into context. 'She's the one ,the soundtrack from the motion picture' album probably falls into 'Wildflowers' territory more than Heartbreakers stuff, and although it doesn't quite hit the heights of that wonderful solo project it is still well worth a listen.I was initially attracted to it by finding 'Walls' on U Tube and thought it was worth a go . It has turned out to be a particulsr favourite with that endearing quality of the tracks that you don't initially like gradually becoming the ones you play the most.Because its a soundtrack it doesn't span like a usual studio album with two versions of 'Walls' and 'Angel Dream'.'Hope you never' and 'California' are classic Tom Petty tunes which you could listen to all day, and there is a wealth of powerful, atmospheric songs like 'Grew up Fast' and 'Supernatural Radio' complimented with typical rockers like 'Change the Locks' and 'Climb that Hill'. Its not 'Full Moon Fever' by any means, but for Tom Petty fans it should be in your collection.
