Verified Purchase
I purchased this as I had a variety of small garden jobs and did not want to spend hundreds of pounds on a variety of tools when one cheaper one would have done. I have to say I was disappointed from the start. The pruning attachment keeps turning when I am cutting. The screws keep falling out and I spend more time tightening the tool than actually getting to use it. If I have been using it for about an hour and it cuts out or is switched off that is it for the day, as it needs to sit for several hours before I can use it again. It has an overall flimsy feel to it and as with the other poster if I could have tried before buy or even seen a review I would not have purchased it. Buy and be disappointed!

I have given this one start as it is the least I can give it and in fairness for that hour or so that it works it is nearly OK.

Poor quality
Poor construction
Poor product

Dissapointed with the quality of this. It has a cheap feel about it, with many of the accessories useless.
The gloves and eye protectors are a joke. Have already had problems with connections of pole sections. They have a bad design, which causes the lock connections to break loose under the mildest of stress. One bolt has already failed as the threads have stripped.
If I had tried before buying I would have steered well clear.
Not recommended.

I'VE HAD THIS TOOL 3 MONTHS AND IT HAS STOPPED WORKING COMPLETELY! IT STARTED PLAYING UP WITHIN WEEKS OF USING IT. I DONT USUALLY FIND TIME TO COMMENT ON WEBSITES BUT I HAVE TIME ON MY HANDS TODAY BECAUSE I CANT WORK IN THE GARDEN DUE TO THE CRAPPY KIAM. SERIUSLY DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

Cheap, unreliable, poorly built/assembled,toy town hunk of junk. As already mentioned, bolts fall off, threads strip on adjusters. The carburetor fell off mine, seriously. I have also had several nasty gashes on my fingers when trying to start the bleeding thing, that is if you can get the recoil starter cord to actually come out of the reel, you know when it wont as the whole thing fly's up in the air as you pull and hits you in the face. bought from [...] sadly with some other "quality" Kiam crap I am stuck with.

Bought this in August 2103, used it five times - twice trimming hedge, twice strimming and once pruning. Second time of use this year, seems to have a problem when load is put on clutch (i.e, actually using an attachment!) Emailed this lot for advice. .
No response after a week, and I would think that if they wanted to limit the number of poor reviews they would at least respond in some way.
Am thinking of going to Trading Standards as the machine is obviously not of merchantable quality and not fit for purpose - surprised to see only 6 month guarantee- even at the price paid, it should last longer than this!
