The Vango Sherpa 65l is the best rucksack I found on the market today, My daughter travels to Cambodia and Thailand with the World Challenge team in July and this rucksack comes highly recommended by them and also by the Duke of Edinburgh Awards team. We actually took the time to try different shops and try on lots of different rucksacks, and the Vango Sherpa fits the bill perfectly. It has the best adjustment system, you are able to adjust the height of the back, the padding on the shoulder straps and hips is superior to others ensuring that if you have to trek for long periods with this rucksack on it will distribute the weight evenly and minimise any chafing. The rucksack comes with an easily accessible and hi-viz raincover, and plenty of side storage for water bottles and walking poles. The bottom compartment of the rucksack is also easily accessible, which a lot of other rucksacks do not have, meaning you will be able to get to items easily without having to unpack and repack the whole bag. I would recommend trying on rucksacks before you buy as everyone is different, this one was the most comfortable fit straight away and the quality of the material, zips and seams will mean it will last for many many trips. I would also recommend buying the best one you can, because the cheaper ones really do not stand up to the quality and design of the Vango. The zips were sticking on the cheaper ones, the straps were not as strong, the padding was minimal and no cleverly designed extras which can make a big difference when your whole belongings are in one bag. I found this one in the shops then I went online and bought through Amazon at a much better price (£50 instead of £80 in the shops).
