Why all the anti M4 Sherman Statements? 1 May 2012
By Davinair - Published on Amazon.com

Page 8 "... if only for the bravery of its crews who faced with the superiority of the later German machines..."

Page 9 "The Sherman's most serious drawback was the main gun, which was never better than the German guns..."

Page 10 " Tanks are generally measured by three criteria - firepower , maneuverability and protection- and if the Sherman fell short in each of these areas when compared to the German machines..."

Well Mr. Ware here is here I have issues with your book:

1. The Germans lost the war. Get over it

2. If you would have taken any time to really research the tank you would have discovered the Sherman was designed as a infantry support vehicle not an anti tank weapon.

3. Look up the roll of the M18 Hellcat and Anti-tank guns. They were designed to take out the enemy tanks while the Sherman supported the infantry.

Wouldn't it be just wonderful if an author did some actual research instead of repeating the same old incorrect opinions.
