This game was very enjoyable. No, its not a "crash bang wallop, look at the special effects on that" type of game and some of the accents (especially the Baker Street irregulars)leave a lot to be desired. The thing I enjoyed about it was the pace of the game, you can actually go through the clues and puzzles in your own time without things exploding or bullets whizzing past your head whilst all the time listening to Sherlock (well, obviously not but!) playing the violin in the background. The puzzles do take a bit of working out and were quite testing (this may just be me being a little slow, who knows?). The Rippers murders were fascinating, and quite factual. The result of the Rippers identity at the end was quite plausible. The best accent/look was Watson, he sounded and looked just like Edward Hardwicke from the Holmes TV series starring Jeremy Brett.
If you like a game that allows you time to pop the kettle on, gets the grey cells working and doesn't blow your ears off, you could do a lot worse than this.
