Thankfully bought this via marketplace at a greatly reduced price (sans DVD!).
I was very disappointed with the quality of the majority of images in this very large 'coffee table' style book.
Although the story of the studios is there and is a fairly interesting read, I bought the book mainly on the strength of the images therein and was sorely let down.
I get better quality images from my iphone 3G which has a 3 megapixel camera!
If you are going to blow up pictures to put in a book of this size at least make sure the final image has the clarity worthy of the subject matter!

This book was a present for someone who one worked there as a teenager and worked his way up in the industry. The book has lots of photos.Shepperton Studios - with bonus region-free DVD

Quite an interesting book but I was hoping for more information on the studios history, pictures were also quite disappointing for a 'coffee-table' sized book. I think I have been spoilt by the Kubrick Archives which is well worth picking up and has the most amazing photographs I have ever seen in a book. Anyway, worth picking up if you can get it at a discounted rate.
