13 Reasons Why You Should Buy Shenanigans
There is so much signal noise in entertainment today that the real struggle is to get yourself heard. I guess getting your book published is the first stage in raising your voice, but people still need to know about your book and buy it. What is Shenanigans, and why should you buy a copy? Well, Shenanigans is a collection of 13 stories, each illustrated by good friends of mine who also happen to be talented artists (I have worked with many of them in the comics field). Some of the stories have been published in places such as NEW WORLDS and ALBEDO ONE, others are new to this collection. Together they span the years 1990 to 1999. They are science fiction tales of varying flavours - sometimes humorous, sometimes harrowing, occasionally provocative. This is not a book for children. If you are at all narrow minded, bigoted, easily upset or prejudiced, then I suggest we don't waste each others time and you should go and buy something safe from the bestseller list. Still with me?
