Product Description

Sabrina’s life is hard work. When she’s not performing her myriad duties as The Gregorio Hotel’s youngest Assistant Manager, she’s working on her law degree at Georgetown University. There’s little time (or money) for leisure, but that’s okay with her. Sabrina is driven to succeed despite her disadvantaged upbringing. When a new VIP checks in to the hotel’s ridiculously extravagant and expensive penthouse suite and the manager is out, the task of his personal welcome falls to her. What should have been a simple meet and greet takes an unexpected turn towards something much more personal! Equally unexpected is the reaction she feels deep down for this tall, dark, and handsome stranger. How can she avoid offending this important guest, earning the ire of her boss, and still not compromise herself personally?

For Sheik Samir, official management welcomes are yet another tedious and perfunctory activity. Of course the manager will provide anything he requires - what else? But the petite blond beauty that approaches him is anything but expected. He is intrigued as much by her appearance as her straightforward manner - with none of the deference that he is used to from those that serve him. Samir’s interest only increases as Sabrina attempts to politely refuse him. He is certain that she underestimates both his will and his resolve!

3.0 out of 5 stars Short read 28 Aug 2014

I've always enjoyed a Sheik romance but I found Samir the Sheik in this story a bit too full on. He came on far too strong too quickly to poor Sabrina. If I was her I would have run a mile!

Also, there are changing POV's within a chapter and that is a pet peeve of mine. The story follows the plot of a typical Mills and Boon type romance and is entirely predictable and it wasn't quite long enough to convince me they really fell in love but it's OK for a short read. However I do wonder why authors don't write full length novels that would end up being 5 star reads if they put more into the story.

3.0 out of 5 stars Lovely romance 28 Aug 2014
By Deborah TOP 500 REVIEWER

Sabrina is the youngest Assistant Manager in the history of The Gregorio Hotel not only does she work full time she's also at Georgetown doing a law degree which leaves little time and money for anything else, but as far as Sheik Samir is concerned that's part of what makes her unique, she's unlike any of the women he normally comes across. He's used to getting what he wants when he wants and the fact that this little blonde beauty can and does say no to him is intriguing.

I do love Elizabeth Lennox books, you always know what to expect which is usually a rich, handsome, powerful male and generally a poor yet beautiful and innocent younger female, the perfect piece of escapism. They are not however books to be taken too seriously could Sabrina really hold down a full time job as Assistant Manager as well as attending Georgetown full time plus homework, eating and sleeping....no but that doesn't matter since I'm in this for the romance and that worked for me..

As usual she does it again another fantastic read from this author and another book I couldn't put down till I had finished reading it. And since it came on as a freebie I grabbed it straight away and it was worth it. Absolutely love this author's work I always look forward to see what is coming next and she never disappoints. Worth the 5STAR'S or more for me.

3.0 out of 5 stars Ok 8 Sep 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I've read other books by this author and generally they are quite good. Not overly deep or long but reasonably enjoyable. This book wasn't one of her better ones. It was shorter and even more rushed than usual which meant that I never really got attached to the characters.

It was okay and it was free... but it could have been better.

3.0 out of 5 stars A free book - with lots of exclamation marks! 20 Sep 2014
By Lizzie
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
As another reviewer said, this is a formulaic, typical, romance read insta love and sex. A shy student, working and balancing law studies and trying to make ends meet is thrown into the path of a rich, powerful man. He's entranced by her and pursues her.
It's not Pride and Prejudice and it contains a fair few cliches but it's worth a quick read.
I agree though with another reviewer who asked why doesn't the author spend some time developing the story and making it a five star book?
Author, please reduce the amount of exclamation marks you overuse, on one page there was five that were completely unnecessary and just made me wonder who edited it.
Suitable for older readers due to content.

1.0 out of 5 stars Uuuurgh 25 Sep 2014

Couldn't finish it, just too far fetched and extremely fantasy orientated. Won't be rushing out to buy anything else by the author, sorry.
