Not one to shy away from trying things that look like a bargain and having read the rave reviews some gave for this paper, I decided to buy it and felt quite confident the paper was being sold way too cheap for it's abilities.

It arrived securely in a compact box with lots of tissue paper in, but inside was just a clear plastic pack with a paper label inserted inside! This is fine but it then meant that the edges where rolled forward as a result and it would not flatten back. Rolling it in the opposite direction to try to correct this just left creases!

As many did say, the paper is not very glossy as stated - in fact it's lightly coated with a dullish coating of something, a bit like the coating on an everyday budget range of photo paper. It also feels like card not photo paper and tears easily.

I put in my Canon printer and as someone else also said, the photo was tinged with a magenta hue that does not occur with any other papers I have used in the same printer. It was not nice. I also noticed that there was a sort of powdery film on the top of the printed photos. I accidentely touched the surface with my little finger while taking it out from the printer and at first I thought the ink had not dried and I had smudged it but it was not a smudge. I took a tissue and rubbed it over the surface and a film of ink came off. I have never seen anything like it!! Further tests produced the same film that had to be rubbed off to get rid of the matt film on the surface. Again - testing it with other papers I have, Canon, HP, Fuji-film and unbranded ones did not result in any film on those!

I suppose to expect that 100 sheets of photo paper for £15.80 were going to get the results reported by some was a bit delusion of me. All I can say is that either the paper that they had was different to what is now being supplied or they are very easily pleased. For me and the result that I got from it, free would be a too high a price for this paper.

If you do buy it, make sure you have a box of tissues to hand to wipe the residue off the photos you print.

I was a little sceptical when I compared the cost of this A3 photo paper with that of other products. I decided to give it a try and within a very short while the package was delivered. When I tried it I found the colour rendition and detail was very good indeed. The only criticism I have is that it cannot be considered very glossy. It is, however, very good value for money and the service I have had has been second to none.

I have been so pleased with the paper that I have recommended it to friends who are members of the local camera club.

Very good value for money sheets are good quality and so much cheaper than any other brand.

Unfortunately because of the thickness of the paper I have not been able to use in any of the printers at my school. This has happened for a number of different brands including Brother and Epson. It doesn't matter how I set it up to print the print cannot pick the thickness of the paper up or feed it through. I have managed to print on them using the schools reprographics printer but very disapointed as hoped I had a great bargain here now I have to much to actually use.

Anyone - perfect if you have a printer which can take thin card sheets (which normally mine can but can't print using this one).
