The film, is a brave atemp at the old hammer house of horror classic films, and as such does seem to hold true to some of the guideline the classic films had. The story will make you jump in places, there is only a few things that lets the film down and I am sad to say on of these is the vey sad monster. With a little bit more budget spent on the monster I think it would and could of worked, how it looks at the moment is cheesy.

If you like old ghost stories, it has the feeling of that, and it works very well, however if you like modern upto date scare the living pants off you, this film, will leave you very disapointed.

I bought this DVD because I am a fan of Rufus Sewell. As always, it was nice to see him, but in my opinion this definitely wasn't his best role. No wonder, as the story is very poor and not at all scary. In short: The She Creature is a disappointment!

this film is soooooooo scary!
i have a fish phobia and had nightmares about the film splash so you can imagine how scared i was lol
buy it!
