Kally Jo Surbeck hits the mark with the rerelease of this great romantic comedy.
Bianca Kirkland and her friend Gertie go to Vegas for a free vacation. While there, she runs into Colby James, not recognizing him as the nerd she had dissed(well before he became the hunk he is now). Colby decides to pay her back, not telling her who he is. But plans go out the window when Gertie gets sick, then Bianca has to become a Klingon and officiate NAKED at a wedding.
This story is just hilarious. Chick lit in tone, but definitely all romance, they will have you laughing and crying and thinking seriously about what really goes one at the conventions.
Warm, witty, and hot in all the right spots, She Blinded Me with Science Fiction is definitely a keeper!

I thought SHE BLINDED ME WITH SCIENCE FICTION was a funny, witty contemporary read with a dash of romance. Yes there is a Happily Ever After don't fret over that one. The sex scenes weren't detailed and graphic but just right for this book. I didn't need a play by play description of what was happening. You're given enough to know exactly what is going on and to get your imagination going.
This story for me was all about Bianca. At first glimpse you think Bianca is a shallow woman. As you go along you see her love for her friend and her need of acceptance. You see her pain at being used and her easy forgiveness. Her realization that she wants more than the empty existence she has been living.
This is the first book I've read from Kally Jo Surbeck and I will definitely be checking out what else she has going on.
