The 'Music In High Places' series provides an opportunity for artists to absorb local culture and history in some of the most exotic and interesting locations around the globe. With this in mind, the beautiful shores of Bora Bora and Tahiti provide a glamorous and frequently appropriate backdrop for the music of Shawn Colvin.

The sound is wonderfully crisp and clear, and although the songs are interspersed with commentaries, these can be easily removed in the menus.

If there is anything to criticise, it's that 45 minutes of music is a little lean, although this covers most periods of Colvin's career from early numbers like 'Diamond In The Rough' to recent songs 'Anywhere You Go' and 'Whole New You'. It also contains a couple of cover versions including a fine take on the Crowded House number 'Private Universe' which seems extremely apt in the setting.

Overall, very much recommended!
