What was the previous reviewer expecting?
Didn't he look at the song line up?

This was a standard length album when it was released but much has happen with the technology in the last thirty years.

Usually the attaction of Japanese issued releases is the better mastering and manufacturing of records or CDs.

If you're looking for balk, not the artist's own overview, then check out the Lennon Collection. That release has all these tracks plus all Lennon's Double Fantasy tracks i.e. limited to releases during his lifetime, but none from Milk and Honey.
