3.0 out of 5 stars Not the most memorable movie 1 Sep 2013
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
This movie treats the issue of child abuse in a somewhat sanitised way and does not really get to grips with the emotional and psychological trauma that such abuse causes .But at least it deals with the reality of repressed memories resurfacing and how powerful sensory memories and associations can be awoken in later life ,something which we would do better to understand as a society and culture when dealing with the human psyche .
