Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

The Quattron range features a super slim design incorporating an elegant, thin, metal bezel. Its touch-sensitive controls are integrated into the bottom edge, which features a new look for Sharp: a subtle mirror-effect look with the Quattron 'Apex' and Sharp logos tastefully illuminated - just enough to highlight the exclusivity of these models, but without distracting from the gorgeous 1080P LED picture quality that features now even deeper blacks and more vibrant, rich and realistic colors.

Got The Blues. 20 Jan 2011
Well After reading many good reviews about picture quality ad having a good play with one in a shop I decided to plump for this one. What a mistake!!! If you want everything to have an overly vivid LUMINOUS blue hue to then it might for you. I tried for hour to tone it down in the enormous number of settings that it had No Joy!! tried the well reviewed 'HD Basics' DVD No Joy. Called the Retailer who referred me to Sharp and gave me the wrong numberfor them!! Eventually got through to SharpServ who sent an 'engineer' who came in and basicly said it was in spec and I'd have to live with it or swap it for another make....... Still Fuming so will sign offnow. Dont Buy One!!! Poor Set, Poor Service. Come on Sharp I'm sure you can do better!!!!!

Sharp LC46LE811E 28 Dec 2010
I had a budget of £500 to spend on a new TV, after doing the rounds I let the sales man in Comet talk me into buying the Sharp LC46LE811E at twice what I was going to spend, I sat in the shop and watched and played with the TV for 40 minutes, I believed it was the best TV available, saved £240 getting it from Amazon, six days to arrive, its a good TV but the on screen TV planer is pointless, hard to read and program information is useless, haven't been able to connect my lap top to the TV yet, despite reading the Manuel many times, its a good looking TV, is brilliant with the PS3 and watching blu-Ray films
