Sharp LC32P55E 19 May 2006

Great screen with a great picture, i had an older aquos 30 inch screen which sharp have replaced , this model is far superior, the best picture i have seen, great with the computer and xbox 360 despite its apparently low resolution its much better than anything i have seen. Buy one, but get extended warranty.

Nice tv, not hd ready 17 Jun 2006

This TV looks great running a normal low def signal such as broadcast tv and dvd, however due to the resolution it is far from HD ready.

At a push you can say it is hd compatible as you can display HD sources on it however the signal has to be downscaled to 'fit' the TV's 540 lines, making the fact that the signal is a high resolution near pointless.

In essence, if you aren't fussed about HD this is a great buy else go for the higher resolution titanium range.
