The picture is ok, but the sound is tinny, as seems to be the case with most of the smaller TVs these days. It's much better with a set of speakers plugged into the earphone socket, but now the mute button has no effect. Startup from mains-power-on is a bit slow (compared to the old-style TV that it replaced) and the record-to-USB function is temperamental. It will record without any problems most of the time but occasionally it will report that there has been an error when attempting to start a recording. Sometimes that locks up the whole TV and it has to be turned off and on at the mains.
Overall it's ok, but would I buy the same model again..? No, I don't think so.

I was looking for a second TV for the grandchildren's room of a reasonable size. I've got a 3 year 19in Sharp for the kitchen and its been good. This is 22" with full HD and a lot cheaper than that was. Sounds a bit thin but not a problem. Only issue was the time it takes to power on which was more than my eco switch could handle.

The Sharp LC22LE510K backlit tv was delivered promptly. it looks good and the picture is sharp with good colour. It is slow to warm up but this is a minor inconvenience. Read more
