If your TV sounds as flat as it looks, then help is at hand with the Sharp HTSB250 soundbar!Designed to match TVs of 32 - 40 inches in size but compatible with just about any TV, the HTSB250 gives a substantial boost to sound quality. With a total of six speakers, this Sharp soundbar gives a breath of sound that's just not possible with most built-in TV audio systems. The 2.1 format means separate left and right speakers at the far ends of the bar and no fewer than four subwoofers between them. Finally, TV and films no longer sound tinny and boxy. It's not just the improved speaker system that makes this a great upgrade on your TV's sound, it's the amplifier and processing power, too. For control and accuracy of sound, each of the six speakers has its own amp and shares a total of 32 Watts. The HDSS (High Definition Sound Standard) is further enhanced by SRS WOW HD processing. This boosts the output to give a room filling sound you'd find hard to believe came from such a compact box. Incorporating the HTSB250 with your TV is easy. Simply connect it to the TV's headphone socket and you'll maintain the TV's existing remote volume control. A further analogue input means that you can connect the audio output from other sources, such as an MP3 player, too. After purchasing a 32" Toshiba LCD TV, we discovered that sound was very poor. After researching available options, the Sharp HTSB250 soundbar is the perfect solution for our small room. Sits nicely in front of TV and offers dynamic, like suround sound. My only complaint is as with other users noted, could not use audio cable included, and had to purchase a 3.5mm male jack. Overall very satisfied and is priced reasonably.

I have a sharp 32" LCD TV and the sound quality is awful so I required something compact and unobtrusive that would give me a superior sound. I found several reviews of this sound bar and reviews were average to good, it looked although the experts were possibly a bit too harsh or comparing it to the most expensive and best of equipment.
Certainly for what I paid it's fantastic. It's unobtrusive as it sits below the TV on the stand, it's very light and more importantly the sound is 100x better than the TV speakers. I have watched movies, played games and played music through this soundbar and it's always been of very good quality.
Ok so I'm no audiophile but for someone who wants a good sound this certainly didn't dissappoint. Sure it's not like a 5.1 big bucks surround sound system but for the price and size you can't complain.

Great price and a decent sound.
