Slim and compact Sound Bar System, that fits perfectly well to new AQUOS LCD-TVs with 32" to 40" screen size.
A powerful sound impression is generated by a 4 speaker Neodym system. The latest SRS-WOW HD technology and HDSS sound system guarantees an excellent sound quality. Combine the soundbar easily to your system with the flexible settings like: Wallmount, in front of the TV and inside a rack. The subwoofer Pre-Output terminal (RCA) can eaysily by connected to any active subwoofers (not included), in order to get a deeper and even more powerful sound. The soundbar volume is adjusted by the TV volume settings, when connected via the headphone output terminal of any TV set. You can also use your conventional TV remote control (all brands), to control the volume settings of the soundbar.

Speakers on flat screen TVs are not noted for their quality, so I find it difficult to follow speech in drama programmes on my Panasonic LCD TV, particularly when there is a lot of background noise such as traffic. Although not a true surround sound system, this unit has solved the problem and at a very reasonable price.
One note of caution: if your television does not have RCA sound-out sockets, you will need to buy a 3.5mm stereo jack plug connector, to connect the unit via the TV's headphone socket - why does Sharp only supply the RCA cables?

I bought this to complement my LED TV in my bedroom which has very poor standard speakers. I didn't expect too much at this price but have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the speaker bar. It has given me at least 75% increase in both sound volume and quality and the surround, while not ground-breaking is pretty decent. Listening to music and watching movies in my bedroom is now a pleasure and I am really pleased with this purchase. Its also wall mountable and very slimline and it looks great! Recommended and worthy of 5 stars.

I bought this item becouse the speakers on my tv were at the back and I wanted a better sound. I also thought I would buy this item as it was as cheap as buying reasonable extension speakers. FOR ME: the sound is brilliant and the surround sound, although not as good as having half a dozen speakers around the room, suprised me as to how good it was. Looks good and descrete under the tv, but can be wall mounted. Easy to install. Received pretty quickly well packaged. No complaints so far..............

Sharp Soundbar
when I changed to a Sony TV the bass performance was severly lacking hence the search for improvement. The Sharp soundbar is purely a TV "add on" full stop. Read more

Oh dear
Old tech connections are bad enough but the trouble is the sound. Even when RCA connections were state of the art, it would still have sounded this bad. Read more

Sharp HTSB250 2:1 inch Sound Bar System with SRS WOW HD
Bought this item for our flat screen tv, but when we got it, it didn`t have any ports to fit the digital output sound of the tv, only analog, therefore we had to send it back.

good, not great
