Once again we head out into the deep dark with Ishmael Horatio Wang. With consumate ease Nathan Lowell takes us on a journey on the space trading lanes of the far future. Reading this series, you very quickly find yourself immersed in a fantastically crafted galaxy, populated with characters that you find you really care about. Nathan Lowell is a master story teller.

Most emphatically five stars.
PLEASE READ THE BOOKS IN THE CORRECT ORDER SO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT MAKES ISHMAEL TICK.
It really makes a change to read a book that is not all about people being nasty to each other. I found the first two books in the series to be extremely enjoyable and this third book was still gripping. I really wanted to know what happened next so I continued buying the next books in the series until I ended up with the whole series of six and read them in quick succession. I managed to lose a lot of sleep whilst reading these books because I simply could not put them down and I was sitting up in bed until the small hours, glued to my Kindle.
Without wishing to spoil the ending of the final book, I was left quite bereft when I finished it. I wanted to know what happened next to Ishmael - and to some of the characters he had met along the way. I hope to discover a seventh book has been added soon.

These re simply very good books. They have strong characters, a convincing world that draws you in and holds your interest and a plot trajectory which, while appearing simple, is gripping. Reading this series is something I know I will want to do again, and something I will want to share by recommending to others. I'd been looking for a new Science fiction author for some years....and have found one inNathan Lowell

I have already done a review for this book direct from my kindle.
I rearly enjoyed reading the story i reminds me of when i was in the merchant navy and the schooli had to go to. to learn about shipping and everything about the ship and delegation.
You can tell from the storyline that the auther was in the Amercan coast guirde. as everything is so similer to real life at sea.

Nice to read a novel that is not all about fighting the alien menace or boldly going where no one has gone before. The characters have depth and are developed without lengthy dialogues or explanatory passages. You fell like you are a fly on the wall. The hero is credible but seems to have a scary skill set. If this boy doesn't succeed there is little hope for the rest of us.

The further into the series, the more the characters develop and you feel yourself age and grow with them. My husband and I end up having serious conversations about these people, as if they were real and we could talk to them - addictive! Where are the rest of the novels on Amazon?

Picked up the 1st book in the series (Quarter Share) as part of a 10 book special to read on Holiday. Came back a month ago and bought the whole series one after the other. Really good stories.
